Windmill Cottage Lytham

Welcome to Windmill Cottage in the heart of Lytham

Less than 100 yards from Lytham Green and its landmark Windmill and just around the corner from Lytham’s unique range of restaurants, bars and independent shops.

Everything you need for a relaxing coastal break is right on your doorstep. Lytham’s Lowther Gardens and Pavilion Theatre with its regular programme of shows, concerts, plays, films and festivals is literally just down the road.

Lytham Hall, an 18th century Georgian mansion set in 78 acres of wooded parkland is less than a mile away. It is open all year round and has a programme of outdoor concerts and theatre in the summer months, guided tours daily, a cafe, and the Hall is decorated for the Christmas season.

Fairhaven Lake and the beautiful beach at Granny’s Bay are within easy walking distance along Lytham’s promenade, which also offers stunning views over the Ribble Estuary – a haven for migrating wild birds. For even more stunning beaches, nearby St Annes has miles of golden sand, beach huts and seaside activities.

There are four 18 – hole golf courses in Lytham St Annes, including the ‘Open Championship’ links at Royal Lytham.

Built around 1840, Windmill Cottage is cosy and comfortable; a former fisherman’s cottage, it retains an old-world seaside charm, whilst providing modern comforts and facilities. It can accommodate 3 people in 2 generous bedrooms. It has a snug lounge, a bathroom with bath and overhead electric shower, a well equipped modern kitchen that has French doors leading to the courtyard garden. The private walled courtyard at the rear has guaranteed sun all day in good weather.
